When I finished my first manuscript, I scoured the internet looking for examples of successful queries. I found a few on sites like AgentQuery Connect and Absolute Write, but could never find one resource where authors not only shared the letter that snagged their agent, but also commented on the work it took to get the query to its “sweet spot.”

In light of this, I’m starting a new series called, QUITE THE QUERY. This series will not only share a writer’s complete query, but give you some fun insight into how the query got to its final stage (and maybe a tidbit or two about what happens once that query had been sent!)

Unbelievable, but true, I already have many queries waiting in my inbox ready to inspire you! Stop back every other Wednesday and check them out.

  1. Thank you!!!!!! This is an awesome idea. As it is, I google specific authors to try to find what query worked for them. This will be so much better and easier.
