The ball has dropped, or in my case this year, the pinecone. Everyone has posted their picks for the best books of 2012 and made their resolutions/predictions for 2013.
For me, 2013 is all about focus, hard work and a little luck, because let’s be honest, it takes all those things to find an agent and get published.
So no predictions/resolutions for me – just a commitment to the work and striving to make my writing the best it can possibly be.

Right there with you on the quest for an agent and/or publisher! I like the way you are approaching the whole resolution question. For me, 2013 is going to be lots of hard work and commitment and approaching the quest from different angles til something clicks.
